Sleigh Thread Wedge  $79.00 at Aerosoles
submitted by melissa on August 15, 2006 in the shoes category

These are the shoes that Stephanie mentioned in a recent "News & Views" posting. They were voted one of the most comfortable heels by Shop, Etc., and won "Best Buy in a Wedge." I picked up a pair and they are super comfy. It is a great basic shoe that will go with almost everything. Of note, I did go down 1/2 size.   -- melissa

Thanks for the tip melissa. I am excited to get a pair for myself.

I like these too, but just can't decide which color to get, gold or tan. Which would be more versatile?
posted by michelleTX on September 9, 2006

I think it really depends on your personal style. If you like a great looking shoe, but nothing too flashy I would go with the tan. But if you like a little kick to your shoe, definitely go with the gold. They are both very versatile though. The tan is just a bit safer. The gold is more trendy.

Could these be worn in fall/winter with jeans or dress pants?
posted by Mugsy on September 11, 2006

Absolutely. Wear them with jeans, dress pants, even skirt for as long as you can stand it. These will be great for spring too I think.

Has anyone seen these in the Madison area? I would like to try them on before I buy them, instead of ordering them online.
posted by Mugsy on September 12, 2006

Unfortunately I have not. I think they are only available at Aerosoles stores, online and at select department stores like Nordstrom. I think Macy's carries them as well, but not in Madison.
