 Now I realize time is running out and you're in a panic to figure out those last minute gifts, but does it really have to come to this - an e-gift certificate? Just seems so impersonal to me. At least with an actually gift card you have to take a minute to go and buy the thing and wrap it up in its nice little box. It seems a little more personal. Call me crazy.
But if you must.......you can purchase these e-gift certificates at a ton of places online. Ann Taylor and AT Loft both have them. Eddie Bauer, Nordstrom, and Talbot's do as well. I'm sure there are a bunch more too. Just go online to your retailer of choice and check it out.
Once you decide to purchase you basically select a dollar amount, enter an email address and a nice little message, please don't forget the message for God's sake, and Viola! The e-gift certificate is sent automatically to the email address you provided and is available to the recipient immediately. REMEMBER - some of these e-gift certificates can be redeemed online only, so you might want to take that into consideration when purchasing.
So.....to give an e-gift certificate or not? Good question. Is it slick and easy? Yes. Is it better to give something than nothing? I think so. But this? I am not so sure. |
