 This is the shoe of the season ladies. You can get them with cork bottoms, espadrille bottoms, leather, or wood. Just about anything you can imagine. Plus in a whole lot of styles like a sling back or a slide and ones with fabric ties. Lots of options. And you find them just about everywhere you look.
Ann Taylor has a really great pair of espadrille wedges. Gap has several really inexpensive pair. You can get a pair at Ann Taylor Loft for a bit more money or a pair from J.Crew for a bunch more. Nordstrom has a ton too in a range of prices. All very cool.
Man I love these shoes. It is the perfect way for women, especially those of us with a little less height, to look great and still be somewhat casual. Mind you, you can still find dressier pairs in leather, etc. that look great for an evening out. BUT the really fun wedges for the season are a bit more casual and fun. And if you steer clear of the ones with ties that go half way up your calf and stick to a sling back or a slide your legs will look like they go on forever, especially in those skinny jeans or knee length shorts. Well maybe not forever, but you know what I mean. |

| If you like the ones at Nordstrom you might want to check out their sale. They've got 50% or more off on select merchandise including shoes and the last time I checked they had a bunch of wedge sandals to choose from at really affordable prices. Good luck! |
