 According to SHOP Etc. magazine each season there are always those "fly-off-the-shelves" items that everyone clamors for. So to figure out what the "sure-to-sell-out" items for spring were they enlisted the help of a few fashion insiders. Most of the items, like I said before, were too expensive to appear on any of my must-have lists - like the Miu Miu Gold Glitter Shoes ($650) or the Fendi "B" Bag ($1860). Not that the bag isn't absolutely gorgeous. However, there were a couple of items that did appeal to me and by budget.
- Printed Belted Mac Jacket ($88) from Gap. According to Gap style expert Sean Krebs, "This updated version of a Gap classic's proportions has been perfectly cropped." "It's chic, versatile, and practical." Looks cute I think, but definitely a print I would need to see in person. It may be a bit too much....maybe not. But definitely one to consider if you already have a basic trench.
- "Grafton" sandal ($75) from Nine West. "This sandal combines key spring callouts, like boho studs with wood, and adds the important gladiator look," explains Nine West president and CEO Rhonda Brown. I think the sandals look very cool, but they may be just a bit high, with 3 3/4" heel, for running errands and schlepping kids around. Not that I don't like a little heel with my jeans mind you. I just prefer one a little more manageable.
So what are your predictions ladies - will these hot picks be as big a hit as the insiders think? I would love to hear what you think. And if you do agree you might want to consider ordering now because if they are right, odds are these babies won't be around long.

| How funny-I just asked a friend about this magazine. I saw it in a magazine sales fundraiser my son is doing for school and wondered what it was like. Never heard of it. Am I out of the loop? Is it a good magazine? |

| I kind of like this magazine. I kind of don't. They basically have 3 sections - fashion, home, beauty. The mag. is easy to get through and it is not nearly as huge as In Style or some of the others. It is less expensive too. They do have some good info, but for some reason it's just not my favorite. Sorry, this is probably more confusing than helpful. |
