I don't know about you, but I have always been in love with headbands.  Probably because the preppy look is sooo my thing.  But even if preppy isn't your thing, you might want to try one for summer.  They're super easy to do and versatile.  Preppy?  Yes.  But they can also be very chic, or sporty, or even goddess like.  It really depends on the style of headband you choose.

J.Crew has a really cute tie silk headband with turtles on it and they always have a few of the more traditional styles in their stores.  Ann Taylor has a great wide black silk one.  Talbot's has a few to choose from as well.  Banana has a linen and a crocheted cotton one as well as a few others.  And Forever21 has a few of the cotton/spandex styles in a bunch of colors and patterns for less the $3 each.  Totally cheap!

Seriously, you've got a ton of options here.  Try a wide headband with a great halter top, nice pants & strappy heels or a great strapless dress & heels.  Both very chic.  Or go preppy to the max with a great polo and cropped pants.  Just find one that suits your style and go for it.  You'll look oh so fashionable for not a lot of money.
