White shoes are big for summer

There's just something about white shoes that makes me a little uneasy.  Call me crazy.  That said; there are times when a great looking pair of white shoes would be just the ticket.  Especially this summer.  Lots of black & navy going on.  Floral prints and polka dots too.  All which would be very lovely with a pair of white sandals.  So....to make the process of finding a pair a little less stressful for everyone, I did a little shopping. 

Here are a few of my finds.....

For a super splurge - these white & straw peep toe heels from J.Crew are absolutely adorable. 
 
For a much more practical price - try the Bella Peep Toe Pump from Ann Taylor Loft.  So cute and very affordable at $69.  For $68 check out the linen espadrille wedge pair from Banana.  So great.  And if all that ribbon makes you nervous, take it out.  These babies work just as well without them.

For even less money - AT Loft also has the Delia Thong.  They're on sale for just $29.99 and just the ticket when you're looking for something a bit more casual.  And check out the Jovi sandal from Nine West.  Very cute and oh so affordable for $39.99. 

So if the outfit calls for it, buy them.  There's no reason to hesitate.  However once you've got them, wear them and wear them often.  Because in my opinion these babies should not be worn past Labor Day.
