It's back to the classics for Gap this fall

We've discussed this many a time.  There just hasn't been that much to talk about at Gap lately.  The classics have gone by the wayside and more fashion forward merchandise has taken its place.  Not that we don't want fashionable stuff, but too trendy is just not good for Gap. 

Thankfully, the big guys over there have been listening.  According to a recent article in USA Today, their new back-to-classics fall line is wowing the analysts.  Apparently, the fall line will be divided among four new sections - denim, active, clean (non-denim bottom & sweaters) and tees and should begin arriving in stores later this month.  The new ad campaign will also debut in late July.    

How exciting.  I love the Gap, have shopped there for years, and to see them come back to their former glory would be awesome.  And from what I've seen online so far I am cautiously optimistic.  You should be to.
