I think it's always great when you can play a little with fashion.  Add a trendy piece to your everyday jeans & tee combo or pair something edgy with your refined work attire.  Very fun to mix it up.  This week's trend is all about pirates thanks in part to Mr. Johnny Depp and his new movie. 

So if you're looking to join in the fun, here's a few my favorites....

Nordstrom has a great skull and cross bones necklace - perfect for when you want just a little pirate in your life.  Or how about a skull and sword tee?  Very fun and so affordable at just $24.  Target has this great black/white or red scull and cross bones scarf for $49.99.  Throw it around your neck or wear as a belt.  A little pricey for Target, but oh so stylish indeed.  Target actually has a bunch of pirate booty for choose from.  Check it out online at Target.com.

And remember, a little pirate is all you need.  You don't want to look like you're headed to a costume party.  But most importantly make it fresh.  Wear the necklace with a crisp white shirt & pencil skirt or pair the scarf with a striped shirt for a spin on the whole nautical theme.  Very fun and oh so stylish.  Have fun!
