New denim at Old Navy
Monday, July 24, 2006
Shop Etc. magazine has the low down on comfy heels send to a friend The trendy shoe for fall? It's a clog baby
Every girl needs at least one pair of running around town, chasing after kids or dogs or both, still nice enough to wear in public kind of jeans.  Nothing too fancy, but perfect for when you want to give your really good jeans a break.  That said:  the everydayers must still fit really well.  Seriously, just because you're schlepping around doesn't mean you should like it.  The length should be right, the waist shouldn't be too high and you should look awesome in them.  If you don't, don't buy them.  Even if they are cheap.

A great place to get these everydayers is Old Navy.  And now in addition to your old favorites they've just added skinny, straight, flare, and curvy fit jeans to the mix.  With a bunch of different waist heights and washes to choose from the selection couldn't be better.  And the prices are still Old Navy affordable.  Nothing over $40 my dear even the special edition denim.  Yippee!

Check out the entire line online and then head to your local Old Navy store for some serious trying on.  Have fun and good luck!

Thanks for the reminder--I have a lot of jeans that "just don't fit right" and I tend to wear them when I'm just "out and about" doing errands. I need to clean out my closet and replace with some that fit!

I agree, get rid of those bad looking jeans! (I'm addressing myself!) When shopping, be sure to have a hand mirror with you to look at yourself from behind, don't take anyone's word for it, you must see just how your backside looks! Looking over your shoulder into the mirror doesn't do it, the angle is too forgiving, so for those of us with a more generous hipline, we must do the straight-on backside vote. I have a feeling our Savvies host may not know what this means; what is her secret to staying so slim? Do tell.
