Shop Etc. magazine has the low down on comfy heels
Wednesday, July 26, 2006
Episode #7 is up and running.....finally! send to a friend New denim at Old Navy
For work and fun, everyone loves a great looking heel that doesn't hurt.  So for their August issue, Shop Etc. set out to find a few pairs of shoes that were as comfy as they were stylish.  Granted not all of the 40 pairs they found are as affordable as we might like, but they did find a few that won't break the bank.

Here's a few of my favorite affordables.

The "Juicy" shoe from Rampage is a great option when you need a covered toe.  A traditional looking rounded toe pump with a modest platform heel.  And for just $60 the price just can't be beat.

"Janisha" from Nine West is great at just $79.

"Sleigh thread" from Aerosoles is an awesome wedge for work or fun.  With a little peep toe just to make things interesting.

The "Dallas" shoe from Michael Michael Kors is a great little kitten heel with a tassel.  Perfect for when you need a more conservative look.  It's a bit more money though at $139.

But his T-strap sandal from Victoria's Secret was by far the best buy.  For just $58 you get a comfy foot bed, leather that clings to your feet, and a stylish platform to boot.  How cool is that?  Very!  They even had a little blurb on the Today Show yesterday about these shoes and they looked really fabulous on as well.  I'm thinking the luggage color would be grand for fall.

For a look at all the fabulous heels you can check them out online or in the August edition of Shop Etc. magazine.

I picked up the Sleigh Thread shoe from Aerosoles over the weekend and they are super comfy and well worth the money!!! They had another great shoe, a red Mary Jane wedge, that I may have to pick up because they are so darn cute.

I'm so excited. What color did you get? And how do they run size wise? We don't have an Aerosoles store in town, so I may have to order online. You should post them in I Love It! for everyone to see.

Well, I got them in Black, but it was a toss up between the black and the tan color. They actually ran a little big. I usually wear size 6, but I had to go down to a size 5 1/2. The sales associate said that they have been flying out of the store with all of the recent press.
