Early fall line now in at J.Crew

Payless is getting more fashionable my friends send to a friend Episode #7 is up and running.....finally!
That's right ladies, in an effort to really limited the number of sale items all together, J.Crew is starting to stock a much smaller quantity of each particular item.  Especially specialty items.  The good news - not all your girlfriends will be sporting the exact same J.Crew sweater.  The bad news - waiting for a sale on a "must have" item is no longer an option.  I mean J.Crew has never really been a "wait for it to go on sale" kind of store.  The good stuff just doesn't last that long.  But now it's worse than ever.  Apparently some things are even selling out before customers even get their catalogs.  Which can't be good if you ask me.  But we shall see. 

I was lucky enough to check out their early fall line this weekend.  Cute stuff I tell you.  Hoodies were huge.  Lots of colors to choose from and great fun when paired up with a more fitted, button down shirt.  Gorgeous argyle sweaters too.  And there's a ton more to choose from online as well.  Here are a few of my more affordable favorites. 

    Classic end-on-end tuxedo shirt - they featured a similar style this spring.  I wanted it then and never got it, so I am excited to see it for fall.  Great for casual and work.  
    Elizabeth ruffle blouse in striped broadcloth - not for everyone, but super cute and oh so feminine.  Looks great under a crewneck sweater.
    Merino blown-up argyle sweater - I'm such a sucker for a great argyle and this one is awesome, especially in the rose color.  You have to see it in person to really appreciate it.   
    Inverted pleat chino skirt - very cute except it seemed to run really big.  Great colors to choose from.  
    Eleanor suede peep-toe heel - I know I said affordable, but these are too cute not to mention.  

So....if you're a fan of J.Crew you'd better get to your local store pretty quick or go online to check out their early fall line.  As always, there's great stuff to choose from.  And if you see something you really like you might want to consider getting it.  Better safe than sorry I always say and you can always return it later should you change your mind.  Have fun!
