 That's right ladies. The ballet flat - one of the 5 shoes Miss Meghan says we need and which I still do not own, is still oh so in. I seriously thought these babies would be gone by now. Not so. They're back for fall and even better. Granted you can still get the plain jane leather styles, but now they come in a ton of different fabrics and embellishments. Ooh la la. Wear them for casual, for work, or even when you want to get all dressed up. Lots of options I tell you.
Here are a few of my favorites for fall.....
The Nine West "Edwin" comes in solid colors and a great leopard print. Love the print - so cute and awesome with denim and not bad at $75.
Steve Madden also has a few to choose from. My fav - the "Bees" shoe. Love the colors, especially red for fall, and the little gathers at the toe.
J.Crew has a rose jeweled Barcelona ballet flat for when you really want to kick it up a notch. The price is way up there too, but these babies are gorgeous. They might be worth it.
And if you're still not sure and want to go cheap, Target has several pairs to choose from as well. All for under $30. Can't beat that.
And the more I think about it, the more I think 2 pairs are actually a good idea. One printed pair for when you want to jazz up an otherwise ho hum outfit and one solid colored pair for when the printed ones just won't work. Have fun! |

| Those are adorable. I didn't realize Famous Footwear carried Steve Madden and at great price to boot. With the whole free shipping thing I may have to order a pair ASAP! How cute with cuffed jeans and a polo. Thanks for the tip! |

| I really like the ballet flat but am in the dark as to what to wear with them. When you say to wear them with a cuffed jean, do you mean a cuffed jean that is cropped? Call me clueless. What about in fall? Would they look good with a long jean and no socks? Flared jeans, straight leg??? |

| Here's the deal. Totally wear them with little cuffed just slightly cropped jeans now (which can basically be your regular jeans just cuffed about 5") and then with regular jeans later. Do more of a straight leg on the jeans and not too super long. You want some of your shoe to show and you don't want them to drag on the floor. Oh, and no socks my dear. My fav for everyday is jeans, leopard print ballet flats and a polo. Super easy and super cute for early fall. Hope that helps! |

| I've never found ballet flats very comfy but I'm going to try again. I love the red ones in all the brands! I'm so glad to see red as I'm getting a little tired of pink now that summer is winding down. |
