I'm all over this one too.  I love the look of the sheer, frilly numbers for work and the cotton ones for more casual occasions.  And these frilly, girly girl shirts that make you look oh so feminine are oh so in for fall.  Not a huge fan?  Don't worry.  As with most trends - you've got options.

Sure you can go super duper girly with a sheer, ruffle top like this one from Banana Republic, or this ruffle and cami set from Old Navy.  And for really fancy ones check out the selection at bebe.  These babies are great with skirts or pants for work.  Pair with a belt and great shoes and you're good to go looking oh so fabulous. 

But if you're everyday look is much more casual you can also do something a little less frilly.  This "Head of Class" shirt from American Eagle is a great cotton/silk number and these long sleeve shirts from Old Navy and J.Crew with tuxedo ruffles give your casual khaki skirt and shorts a little kick.  And this ruffled collared shirt from J.Crew looks great now and later under a crewneck sweater.  Great fun. 

So as you can see, you've got lots of options here.  But one thing is for sure, these super feminine, very girly girl looking tops are definitely in for fall.  Plus they're an oh so easy way to update your look.  Enjoy!  These are far too fun to pass up.

That's my favorite too. My 2nd favorite is the J.Crew ruffled collared shirt. How fun would that look peeking out from under a sweater? So fun!
