A great cardigan is just the ticket for fall

I'm in need a great cardigan.  You know, something to throw on with just about every tee or button down shirt I own.  One that can be dressed up nicely, but still casual enough for everyday.  And not just your standard button down cardigan either.  I'm looking for something with a little more to it.  Maybe something a bit chunky.  Maybe something long and lean that can double as a jacket for fall.  The good news is these babies are hot for fall/winter.  The bad news is there are way too many to choose from.  No worries though.  I've done a little looking already. 

Here are a few I'm considering.....

    How lovely is this belted long cardigan from Banana Republic?  Not at all bulky and in a great color to boot.  But be
    careful if you're more petite than tall with these longer style cardigans.  You don't want it to be so long that it
    starts to overwhelm you.

    I really like this texture-rich cardigan from Talbots as well.  Lots of colors to choose from and not quite as long in
    length.  Much easier for us vertically challenged girls to pull off. 

    Old Navy has two worth checking out.  This wide cable-knit cardigan is great. A bit more traditional in length, but
    definitely trendier with the oversized buttons.  Or this belted cardigan.  Take the belt off and go really casual
    over a tee or tank, or dress it up even more with a leather belt around the middle. 

    And this sheer boyfriend cardigan from Target is great too for even less money. 

There are really a lot of options out there.  Just find one that flatters your body and fits your style and go with it.  You'll be glad you did.

I love that the cardigan is in! It's one of my favorites to throw on. I'm so glad I didn't give away the few I have. I'll check out the Old Navy cotton cardigan, I think that can get three season mileage. Keep those fall fashion tips coming!
