Long sleeve tees are a must for fall

A good long sleeve tee should be a staple in your closet this fall and winter.  A lot of sweaters, shirt, dresses, and more are so lightweight and sheer that wearing something underneath is almost a must.  A tank does work well in early fall, but as the weather turns colder a long sleeve tee works better.  Plus the whole layering thing is so big right now you'll definitely want to have a few to work with.

And remember tees used for layering must fit.  Too big and it will look bulky under your shirt or dress.  But too tight is no good either.  You don't want to look poured in and you definitely want to be comfortable.

Here are some of the great basics out there....

    Ann Taylor Loft has nice ones in a bunch of different colors and they're not bad in price.  Just 2 for $34 right now.

    J.Crew has the perfect-fit long-sleeve tee and the featherweight long-sleeve v-neck tee.  The featherweight tee
    is on sale right now for 2 for $35 which is perfect because you definitely have to layer these babies.  They're way
    too sheer by themselves, but very cool layered up.

    And Gap always has their favorite tees for $16.50 and the long-sleeve stretch tees for a little more.  Both are
    great basics for fall. 

And if you're looking for something with a little more kick try a long-sleeve henley.  They give you a nice little change in texture when layering with other knits.  Gap has a slit neck one for just $22.50.  Ann Taylor Loft has a more traditional style in several colors, but in-stores only.  And Old Navy has a ton of basic and not so basic long sleeve tees to choose from at oh so affordable prices.

So stock up now my dears because these babies move fast and for some reason stores never seem to stock enough to last all winter.
