Another trend for fall - the military look

This fall is full of trends.  Plaid is everywhere.  Leggings, cardigans, and vests are at the top of everyone's must have lists.  Patten leather too.  And now you can add the military look to the mix.  The good news is there's definitely something for everywhere this fall.  The bad news - maybe too much. 

My advice - pick a few trends that reflect your own personal sense of style.  Not that it isn't fun to try new things, but showing up each day with an entirely different look might get confusing, not to mention costly.  Pick trends & pieces that easily blend in with your existing wardrobe.  That way when the trend goes, you'll still have something to wear. 

And if the military look is for you, here are a few options to consider.....

    Ann Taylor Loft actually has several military styles to choose from, but the wool blend military coat and the
    modern pea coat are two of my favorites.  Both in navy and both decked out in lots of extras.  Very fun.

    This belted safari jacket by George for Wal-Mart featured in the October issue of InStyle magazine is great for
    casual or work.  And at just $24.82, a super buy as well.

    Old Navy has a few military inspired jackets as well, but my fav is these low-rise tweed capris.  Love the tweed
    and buttons on the leg - perfect for when just a little military is what you're looking for.  

Don't get me wrong, the question isn't whether or not this stuff is cute.  It is.  The real question is whether or not you want to jump on the bandwagon of yet another trend for fall.  I'll leave that decision up to you.
