Personally, I think women fall into 3 categories when it comes to buying a handbag.  Women in the first group love to mix it up and prefer to spend their funds on a collection of super stylish bags rather than one super pricey one.  The second group loves a rockin' bag and is willing to spend a bunch to get one even if it means only buying a new one every few years or so.  Both groups are budget conscious though - they just choose allocate their budgets differently.  And the third group - well they're not too concerned about a budget and they pretty much get to buy whatever strikes their fancy.  The majority of the people I know fall into the first two groups.

However, whether you're on a budget or not every girl wants to get the most for her hard earned dollar.  Thankfully, Real Simple did the work for us and came up with some great bags at different price points.  Plus some great tips on what to look for when purchasing a handbag.  How cool is that.
