Finding the perfect outfits for all your various holiday outings can be very time consuming not to mention completely exhausting.  My advice, find a store that offers a great selection of things that you can mix and match plus a wide range of accessories and shoes to pull the whole look together.  Department stores like Nordstrom and Macy's definitely fit this bill, but to be honest I find them to be a bit overwhelming.  Too many choices if you ask me. 

That's why I love the smaller, specialty stores like Ann Taylor, Ann Taylor LOFT, Banana Republic, and J.Crew.  And this year I must say Banana Republic has some seriously great options. 

Here are a few of my favorites.....

  • This bubble skirt is absolutely adorable.  I must admit I wasn't all that thrilled with the idea of wearing a style of skirt I also wore to my junior prom, but I tried it on anyway and it was game over.  This one is sooooo much more stylish not to mention super cute with a tie waist and pockets.  Paired up with a crisp white button down shirt it is just lovely and perfect when traditional with a kick is what you're going for.
  • And if you're really looking to make a statement, check out this red hot, strapless number.  Just gorgeous.
  • Plus they've got a wide selection of great looking sweaters, dressy pants, and lovely tops to make any work party just a little more fun.
