If you're like me, you tend to navigate to a few select stores for the things you need.  But unfortunately sometimes those favorites don't have what you're looking for.  That's why it sometimes pays to venture elsewhere.  And when you're trying to put together a last minute outfit for New Year's Eve with accessories and all or pick up a great little hostess gift, stopping at one of those "other" stores might just be the ticket.

Target is always great for those "wear only once" kind of items.  You can usually find a nice selection of jewelry, hosiery, handbags, even shoes.  Plus the prices can't be beat.

Cost Plus World Market is another.  Especially if you're in need of a really great hostess gift.  They have lots of interesting foods, wines, and other beverages to choose from plus little add on like glasses, shakers, etc.   Plus everything you need to make a really nice presentation and all at prices that won't break the bank.
