 It's always fun to get a new, great looking jacket for spring and these new shorter sleeve styles might just be the ticket for '07. Especially cute layered up over a tee or sweater, these babies are oh so stylish. And many of them not only have 3/4 or bracelet length sleeves, but are cropped as well. J.Crew has several to choose from including this adorable Piazza cotton jacket/sweater. This Katydid cropped jacket from Anthropologie is great too. Love the green color. Gap has a cute one too. And this linen/cotton coat from Banana Republic is a little longer in length, but lovely as well.
So if you're looking to add a fun new jacket to your spring line up, you might consider one of these. Great looking and an easy breezy way to put a little kick into traditionally straight laced outerwear. I love it. |

| I have to say that I was a little hesitant about the shorter length sleeve for a jacket, but I stumbled across a great navy, cotton double breasted pea coat with bracelet length sleeves on sale at JCrew while I was at a conference in Portland, Oregon. It was very cute and for $65 off of the original price, it was too good to pass up. I have not seen this coat online, so it must be a store only item. |
