Move over skinny jeans.  Wide leg pants are making a comeback this spring.  So much easier to pull off than the skinnys, wide leg pants look great on just about every body type.  Ann Taylor LOFT has quite a few to choose.  So does Anthropologie.  And I love these from the Gap for just $49.50.  Great for everyday or work for not a ton of money.  This is a pair that was feature on the Today Show.  Super cute denim wide leg jeans from Level 99.  And if you're over 5'5" you might try a pair with cuffs like these from Banana Republic. 

But remember ladies, when you've got volume on the bottom you shouldn't be doing volume on the top too.  Pair these babies with something a bit more fitted to create a sleeker, more proportioned look.  And as for shoes....I prefer a heel.  Maybe a pump or a slingback.  Even a wedge.  And of course if you're going for a slimmer, longer look a pointed toe shoe is always a good choice.
