You always need a good, classic trench for spring

I'm telling you a trench coat in a classic style is always "in."  It's the perfect coat to get you from winter to summer, through rain and shine, and back again.  A definite must have.  Thankfully, lots of stores and designers sell them.  The trick is finding one that strikes the perfect balance between classic yet stylish. 

Here's a few I've been eyeing for myself....

This Chic Contrast Coat from Boden fits that bill.  A classic style with just enough "extras" to make it punch and not a bad price either.

For something a bit more timeless this Nine West trench is great.  So is this one from Banana Republic. 

And no one does classic like Talbots and this short trench coat does not disappoint.  Plus for under $150 it's not a bad deal either.

And of course nothing says classic, yet oh so fabulous, like a Burberry trench.  This one is absolutely timeless - something you could wear forever.

So my advice ladies, start with a good quality trench in a classic color and style and then "add on" with a trendier coat.  I think you'll be glad you did.
