Cropped pants - to wear them or not

I've been wearing them for years I must admit. But every year I swear I am going to make myself give them up as I am, unfortunately, on the shorter side of tall and the traditional crop pants with the bit fuller leg do nothing for me. Luckily this year, I think I may have found a nice alternative. This slimmer leg, just above the ankle crop pants that I've been seeing. J.Crew has a great looking pair. Banana Republic has two. One with cuffs and one without. Both have already been marked down. Gap has a pair as well. All with a bit of stretch and a much slimmer look. I love them with ballet flats or a wedge heel. Peep toe pumps too. And remember if elongating your look is the goal you'll want to steer clear of any shoes with an ankle strap. Pair with a more fitted sweater or a belted, longer, more flowy top and you'll look oh so fabulous for spring.
