 Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on how you look at it, my life does not always revolve around fancy schmancy clothes and shoes. Most of my time, especially during the summer, is spent schlepping after kids, running errands around town and basically doing lots and lots of very nonglamourous things. That said; I still want to look fashionable & stylish. Finding clothes that fit the bill is one thing, but finding shoes that look just as fabulous out to dinner as hitting the trails can be tricky. Lucky for you guys, I already been doing some searching.
Here are a few worth checking out.....
The Cole Haan 'Air Bronte' Sandal is at the top of my list. I had a pair of their "air" sandals before and I wore them everywhere. Really. The style has changed a bit, but these babies are still lovely enough for a dinner out and casual enough for everyday running. Plus they are oh so comfy as well.
For a bit more money, I also really like the Cole Haan 'Air Haylee' Thong. Actually Cole Haan has quite a few of stylish yet comfy sandals to choose from. All using the 'air' technology from NIKE. Check out the entire selection at Nordstrom.com.
For less money and more casualness, the Clarks Anne sandal is super cute. And the Geoxx Sarah G sandal is great if you're looking for something a bit more dressed up. So is the San Club thong from Aerosoles.
And while these may not work for hiking the trails, how cute are is this Tabetha wedge shoe from Naturalizer? I love the bright orange color and the heel height is totally doable.

| Very cute choices, a refreshing thing to look at, as I'm pregnant and can't wear the fashions you highlighted for spring. (Don't get me started on maternity clothes-yuk!) Any sandals for the $40 and under crowd that are still comfortable? I know you don't like Payless, but I may have to head there and let you know if I find anything. My "savvy" budget just can't swing those gorgeous Cole Haan's! |
