Martin & Osa - my new favorite store

American Eagle Outfitters launched the first of these stores last year and there are now a total of 8 stores scattered nationwide.  The bad news is they are only located in select cities.  The good news is they plan to launch several more stores by the end of 2007.  And then maybe a website with decent online shopping?  A girl can only hope.

I'm not sure what I like best about this store.  I just know I really like it.  The style of the clothes is nothing revolutionary.  It is basically classic sportswear with a kick.  But it is done really well.  Interesting pieces in nice fabrics and great colors.  Plus the fit is definitely more age appropriate.  Not too tight, but not too boxy either.  And the pricing is comparable to stores like J.Crew and Banana Republic.  How cool is that. 

I really enjoyed my shopping trip to Martin & Osa.  If you get a chance to visit one of their stores, you should.  I think you'll be glad you did.

I was able to check out the Martin & Osa store at Tysons Corner this week. As Stephanie mentioned, they carry good quality sportswear. I was able to find a great pair of khaki's and a couple of knit tops. They seem to be expanding their stores, so hopefully you'll be able to find one near you soon.
