 Madewell, the younger and less expensive sister store to J.Crew has been up and running for less than a year now. They feature casual clothing for a bit younger crowd at prices 20-30% less than J.Crew. Lots of tshirts and jeans, hoodies, tanks, shorts and more in great looking colors and a laid back summer style. They currently have just a few retail stores scattered across the country, but they do offer a limited selection of things online which can be ordered via telephone. Unfortunately the hoodie featured in In Style is not one of them. However, if you call their #800 number they might be able to track one down for you at one of their stores. According to a rep at Madewell anyway.
I'm just curious if anyone has been to an actual store yet? If so, do tell. I'm dying to know if the merchandise is nice or not. From the looks of things online I would definitely take a minute to check things out if I didn't live some million miles away from the nearest store......
Anyhoo, the hoodie they featured in In Style looks cute, so I'm curious what the rest of the stuff is like. Hopefully someone can give us the scoop. |
