If you happened to catch Shoe Therapy(TM) with Miss Meghan on the Home Shopping Network, or you've been shoe shopping lately or you've just been pursuing all the fashion mags; you know what I'm talking about.  One of the hottest trends for fall is the oxford bootie.  A whole lotta pump.  Not so much boot.  This shoe is IT my friends. 

Wear them with trousers or skirts paired with opaque tights, these shoes really kick your look up a notch.  They are a perfect replacement to the classic loafer for work.  But buyer beware, these babies could be in for only one season or a hundred years.  I can't say for sure.  However, if you're a trendy girl looking for an oh so stylish shoe for fall the oxford bootie is definitely it.

These Agatha oxfords from Banana Republic are just lovely.  And how adorable are these Betsey Johnson Lavonne booties?  So cute.   

Anthropologie has a bunch to choose from including these super trendy Buttoned-Up Booties and these Yearbook Photo Booties.  Very fun.

These Steve Madden Reilly booties are great as well.

And for some serious cash, check out this pair of Marc by Marc Jacobs booties at Nordstrom.  Love the two-tone and the platform.

I am not sure I like this either Stephanie. I almost think they look too bulky to dress up skirts or slacks.

I think they are very cute! I could see them with a cute pair of wide leg trousers/jeans. Nice if you don't want to wear boots or pumps but are looking for a heel. I will probably look for them in a cheaper knock-off since it may be a 1-2 year trend.
