 I went to AT LOFT in search of some pieces that look great together, but that could also be mixed and matched with things I already own. I think I succeeded. It is nothing earth shattering. A brown top with brown plaid pants, but I added a chunky necklace and some cute shoes for a little zip.
The only bummer is the pants, which you can see from the pic, are way too short for my shoes. I always have this trouble with AT LOFT. Petites are too short with heels and the Misses are always way too long. Aarrggghhhh! Of course I could always have them tailored, but I never seem to plan that far in advance.
Anyway, here are the details for today's outfit.....
-Essential button front shirt in chocolate brown.
-Covert twill Ann boot leg belted pants in neutral ground.
-Chunky red crystal necklace. This is a single string necklace that I doubled up. Very fun.
-Patent leather wedges by Linea Paolo from Nordstrom. Great brand of shoes.

| Great look for the office or for a meeting and I really like the necklace to pull everything together. I agree on the pant length. I have the same problem and I typically have to make plans in advance since most of my pants need to be altered. |

| You know I'm not always a huge accessories fan, I usually stick to my diamond pendant necklace. But adding a fun necklace, bracelets, etc. can really jazz up an outfit. Make things look a little more polished. I should do it more often. |

| As a petite person, I am surprised that you never learned to hem pants yourself. I would be tripping over all my pants if I didn't do my own alterations. It's nice to see you with an accessory! |
