 You'll have to excuse the makeup, or lack thereof, it's been a rough Monday am so far, but I wanted you to check out the loungewear I found from J.Crew. It's a basic "sweatsuit" if you will. The hoodie is pretty basic, the pants have a great straight leg, and both pieces are very soft. However, since the pants have no lycra they don't hold their shape all that well, especially in the knees. Drives me nuts. And while this set would be great for just hanging around your house or maybe a quick run to the grocery store I don't think I would wear it on a long car ride and especially not an airplane. Way too casual for that.
So....I will continue my search.

Hey Stephanie, Cute sweats from J Crew... but you are right.. hate those sloppy baggy knees. Take a look at Athleta and Title Nine they have tons of "sweats/casual wear" and also carry petite sizes.

| Ok Girlfriend, you said you'd try uncharted waters... Chico's has a great line of casual wear called Zynergy. One of my fav's is a fuscia cashmere/ silk hoodie zip up that I wear all too often. Pull on pants have spandex and keep shape even after a few wears and even naps, I know. Prices can be a bit high, but Chico's has fabulous sales, and an extra 5% off for those who join their passport program (free). Great for those of us who are between babies! |
