Early fall line now in at J.Crew

The early fall line has just arrived at J.Crew stores and online.  There are some great looking sweaters including the ever popular J.Crew argyle, a bunch of hoodies, and a ton of other stuff.  Very fun.  And the word on the street - if you find something you like you had better get it now.  Supplies are limited. Episode #7 is up and running.....finally!

The sales are winding down and the early fall merchandise is showing up in stores everywhere.  The problem is it's too darn hot to be wearing anything right now, but camis and shorts.  My solution?  Buy something you can wear now AND later.  We're headed to Old Navy for Episode #7 to do just that. Shop Etc. magazine has the low down on comfy heels

For their August issue Shop Etc. magazine searched high and low to find the most comfy heels out there.  The good news - they found 40 pairs that won't make your tootsies ache.  The bad news - most of the shoes are quite pricey at well over $100.  Thankfully however, there are a few reasonably priced options.  Whew!  And to think we price conscious gals would just have to settle for sore feet. The trendy shoe for fall? It's a clog baby

I have a friend who has been wearing these babies for awhile now.  Whether it's because she's a total trendsetter or for pure comfort - I don't know.  What I do know is that she loves them.  Me - I'm not too sure.  Thankfully though the trend for fall is a very stylish, higher heeled, platform clog that really rocks.  You know, as opposed to the "others." New arrivals at Ann Taylor Loft

Things are really heating up over at Ann Taylor Loft.  Not only do they have the new Julie curvy fit pants, but their early fall line is now in stores as well.  I couldn't be more excited.  Good to have options with the pants and the new fall line looks great.  Not only is black back, but so is this gorgeous color they call deep ocean.  With lots of dresses, skirts, and pretty tops to choose from it's going to be hard not to buy just a little something. Next up from Target Go International - Paul & Joe

Well my dears the days of Tara Jarmon for Target are coming to a close, so if you haven't picked up something from her line you'd better do it quick.  Next up is a brand from French designer Sophie Albou called Paul & Joe.  "Her collection is comprised of mix-and-match separates and accessories that incorporate her unique, yet elegant flamboyance, with a girlish touch," says Trish Adams, senior vice president, Target.  "Should be interesting," I say.

J.Jill offers greatest size selection ever

I don't know if you are all aware of this, but J.Jill not only offers Misses and Petite sizes, but they also offer Tall and Women sizes too.  Granted not every item they offer is available in all sizes, but apparently with their latest line they will have their greatest size selection ever.  Very cool.  Just one more place to find those harder to find sizes.  Three cheers to that!

Ahoy mates! Pirate mania is here.

With the release of the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie the whole pirate, skeletal, skull & cross bones thing is really taking off.  Granted people have been sporting it for awhile now, but recently it seems to be everywhere.  So if you're looking to add a little fun to your wardrobe you might want to try a skull scarf, maybe a bracelet or even a skeleton tee.  Very fun and great way to release your inner pirate.  Arrrrgggghhhh!

In an attempt to revive their dismal sales, Gap has launched a new ad campaign along with a great selection of new, fresh, but definitely more classic clothes for fall according to an article in USA Today.  The critics, who have been not too impressed with their merchandize up until now are even excited.  I personally am keeping my fingers crossed.
