Banana Republic's Late Summer Arrivals are Online Now

At last the big Banana sale is winding down and the late summer/early fall stuff is rolling in.  And from the looks of things online it's going to be an "Indian Summer" over at Banana Republic.  Lots and lots of reds, neutrals, blacks even blues with some lovely prints and textures thrown in.  All with a great kind of Mexican, southwestern feel to it.  Very fun and perfect to take you right into fall.  You can check it all out online now or wait.  The new stuff hits the stores on Thursday, July 6th.

How about a rugby striped polo for late summer/early fall

Call it what you want....Americana, Nautical, or Classic.  Either way the whole red, white and blue is big right now and it's not just in celebration of the 4th of July.  A fun red skirt or a striped navy tee, white trousers and more.  Just an easy, breezy way to show your patriotism and be right in style.

Glamour's 6 amazing jeans for under $40

Here's a look I love - long tops with wide belts

Now I must admit I'm not a huge fan of the long tshirt thing with a wide belt slung low around the hips.  But this new look.  Well that's another story.  Pretty shirts a little longer in length with a wider belt tied around the waist.  Just lovely.  Worn with straighter legged jeans or pants and great shoes, this is one look I will soooo be sporting. A ton of summer sales. Already?

Is it just me or are the big summer sales happening way to soon this year?  June is a little more than half way over and all the stores are featuring major sales on their summer merchandise.  Including Banana Republic whose big summer sale starts Thursday.  It makes me wonder, will there be any shorts to be had after July 1st?  I sure hope so.  I haven't quite finished my summer wardrobe. I'm currently in a big search to find a new, super cool, super affordable, perfect shade of lip gloss for summer.  And in the process of researching what's out there I stumbled upon this great little company called Eyes Lips Face.  It's a full line makeup and skin-care company that sells almost everything for just $1.  That's right my friend, 1 big bad buck. Talbots Semiannual Sale

Talbots famous semiannual sale as begun - at least online anyway.  Officially the sale starts Thursday, June 15th in-stores, but if you're a Talbots fan you know that for all practical purposes the sale starts the day before, on Wednesday, June 14th.  So mark your calendars ladies.  If Talbots is your thing, this is one you won't want to miss.

White shoes are big for summer

I must admit that I am not usually drawn to white shoes.  The very whiteness of them just makes me cringe for some reason.  But this summer, more than any I can remember, white shoes are everywhere.  And they do go perfectly with all the navy & black out there.  But my advice.....don't forget the self tanner.

That's right ladies.  The choice of hunters everywhere is quickly becoming the choice of fashionistas everywhere.  Crazy I know.  Granted you probably won't find a cute fitted tee at your local Gander Mountain, but you are likely to find it at a few fashion forward stores at your local mall.  Now it may not be for everyone, I realize this.  But it's definitely fun and there's nothing like a piece of camo to get people talking.
