Skinny jeans not your thing - try a pair of wide leg pants

With all this talk about skinny jeans for fall & winter, it's easy to forget that there are other pant trends out there as well.  For one - wide leg pants.  A totally different look than the skinny minnies, but just as fashionable.  These babies are super wide on the bottom and paired up with a more fitted top they are an oh so fabulous look for fall and winter.

Grey or gray - either way it's a popular color this season

It was huge this spring and it's still in big time for fall & winter.  In sweaters, pants, and tees, and even accessories.  And though grey isn't the best color for a lot of people, mixing in another color up close to your face works wonders. Or put on a little self tanner and where it all by itself.  Either way, it's everywhere this season and definitely a color you'll want to have in your line up. Gap, Inc. has a new online shoe store

Man these guys are busy.  Not only does Gap, Inc. have the whole PRODUCT(RED) thing going on right now, but they've also found time to launch a totally new online shoe store called Piperlime.  They feature some seriously fashionable shoes from big time designers for women, men and kids.  Some are quite expensive, but they've got some more affordable options as well.  Definitely worth checking out when you've got a minute.

Gap is selling "RED" to help fight AIDS in Africa.

In an effort to help fight the battle against AIDS in Africa, Gap has stepped up to the plate and created its own (PRODUCT) RED collection.  The line which includes tshirts, sweatshirt, jeans and more is available online and in stores throughout the country.  Half the proceeds from the sale of these Gap (PRODUCT) RED styles will go directly to the Global Fund.  How cool is that.

It's getting cold my friends - here's something to keep you warm

The dolman sleeve for fall

You know what I'm talking about, the sweater and shirts with the big old sleeves.  A little like bat wings if you will.  Well technically speaking they're called dolman sleeves and I while can't say I'm a huge fan, they are very fashionable.  And love them or hate them, they're popping up everywhere for fall and winter.

I often get emails from Savvie members who have all these great services to offer.  Some sell jewelry or cosmetics.  Some offer beauty tips or shopping assistance.  And some are just interested in getting in touch with other Savvie members.  So....I thought it would be great to create a place where these Savvie members could introduce themselves and/or their businesses to the rest of us.  As well as a place where other Savvies, looking for these types of services, could find them.  So I did.  How cool is that?
