If capris are your thing, they're on sale now at Gap

If you're looking for new cropped pants for spring for a great deal, look no further than Gap.  Select styles of their cotton capris are now on sale online and in stores.  These super cute cuffed capris jeans are also on sale (in stores only) for just $29.50 (reg. $59.50).  Now that's a deal.  And here's a tip about sizing, the jeans tend to run a bit smaller than the chinos, so you'll probably need to go one size larger in the jeans to get the perfect fit.

New websites for Ann Taylor and Ann Taylor LOFT

The new & improved Ann Taylor and Ann Taylor LOFT websites are now up and running with lots of new features to make shopping easier.  You can search by color or styles, size and more.  Plus they've got a new enhanced zoom feature so you can get a really good look at the clothes.  Both very cool.  The best part of all, at least for me anyway, is that the sites just seem faster.  You can get around lickety split without having to wait patiently for the darn thing to load.

From minis to maxis - we're talking extremes this season

Sure the mini dresses are big for spring and summer, but so are their extreme opposites - the maxis.  These super long dresses provide an entirely different look than their shorter counterparts and while the minis lean more toward the younger crowd the maxis can be worn by just about anyone.  Except me of course.  I would be swallowed up by the thing.  But for those of you who are not as vertically challenged, they might be just the ticket.

Sometimes life calls for stylish yet oh so comfortable shoes

Call me crazy, but there are times when the fancy schmancy, pretty little sandals, thongs and heels just won't cut it and what you really need is an oh so comfortable shoe that you can wear for hours.  Now I realize these comfy shoes are a dime a dozen.  The trick is finding a pair that can easily take you from trekking the zoo, to touring through Europe to a casual dinner out and back again.  And all the while looking oh so fabulous in a bit more practical way.    (1 comment posted)

Pretty little button front shirts for spring

I can't get enough of these fun little shirts for spring & summer.  So cute and practical too.  Wear them now under a little cardigan or hoodie and later all by their lonesome.  They instantly dress up everything from shorts to skirts to pants.  And the beautiful thing is you can find them just about everywhere for just about any price.  I already picked up the AE Picnic Shirt thanks to the tip from Savvie member Mugsy and I'm looking to add a few more to my wardrobe.  You should too.
