Oxford booties are IT my friends

More like a pump than a boot.  These super trendy shoes have been featured in InStyle magazine, Glamour, Lucky and more.  A great option for work.  These babies are popping up on everyone's must have list for fall.  But me?  I'm not so sure.  With so many other great looking and a bit more classic shoes to choose from like leopard print or patent leather pumps and cute ballet flats, I think I will leave the oxford booties to all you super trendy girls out there.  At least for now anyway..... Get a statement coat or a snappy jacket for fall

Add a bit more zip to your everyday look this fall with a statement coat or a snappy jacket.  Go all out with a print or plaid or maybe just a classic style in a zippy color.  There are lots of options out there right now.  Reds, greens, purples and more.  But my advice, get one while the getting is good.  These babies are going fast especially at places like J.Crew and Boden.  So if you find one you just have to have act now before it's too late.

The kitten heel - when a little lift is all you need

Don't get me wrong.  I love a great looking high heel pump, slingback or wedge.  But there is a time and place for everything and I have learned the hard way that the right time for wearing high heels in not while running errands or schlepping after your kids.  Ouch!  Of course a pair of super cute ballet flats is always an option or even a pair of cool sneakers.  However, there are still times when just a little lift would be nice.  Thankfully I have discovered the beauty of the kitten heel.

Knit dressing for fall

Knit dresses, cardigans, and more are popping up everywhere these days.  The dresses are a great option with heels or flats.  Add a pair of opaque tights later and you're good for winter.   Long knit cardigans with wide leg pants provide an instant update to the traditional work suit.  And longer knit tunics with skinny jeans are fun as well.  Oh so many knit options for fall my friends.....oh so little time.
