| I'm all about having a few "go to" outfits in your closet that you can just put on and go. Outfits that you are comfortable in and make you look oh so stylish of course, but that require no thinking and absolutely no ironing. This "go to" look is all about my black tneck, jeans and favorite shoes. There's no fussing involved and no second guessing. I am in and out of the closet in mere seconds. I actually wish I had a few more of these looks in my closet right now. Definitely something to work on..... (4 comments posted) |

| Since I mainly work out of my home I don't need a ton of traditional business wear. However, I always like to have a few items in my closet that can be easily dressed up for a business meeting or mixed and matched with denim, khakis, etc. for more casual days. Recently however, I discovered that I was a little lacking in "work" clothes, so this weekend I headed over to Ann Taylor LOFT. One of my favorite places to find great looking, totally versatile, and oh so affordable work wear. Check out the outfit I put together. (3 comments posted) |

| I love a good turtleneck. Cotton, cashmere, you name it. There is nothing I like better on a cool day than to throw on a cozy turtleneck, a pair of jeans or khakis, some sneaker and call it a day. Right now I am all about the lighter weight tnecks. Gap has a 3/4 sleeve one that I really like. Ann Taylor LOFT has them too. The trick is finding a style and weight that you like. For my super casual Friday I've picked the stretch cotton tneck tissue tee from J.Crew. |

| Chunky knits are everywhere this season. Layered up over a tee or a button down shirt, belted or not, you name it. They can go casual or dressed up not to mention keep you snugly warm all winter long. I have been eyeing one from Banana Republic for awhile now, so I finally decided to grab it. However, I still can't decide if it is exactly what I've been looking for. Maybe you can help...... (4 comments posted) |

| It seems my life is all about "casual, but nice" and I must admit that it can get a bit tricky keeping it "nice." I think my friends would agree. Whether you're at home full-time or part-time or just dressing for the weekend, you still want to look your best which means staying away from old, out dated clothes and sweatpants and spending a bit more time putting together looks that are casual.....but nice." Hopefully posting pics will make figuring it all out a bit easier. Check out my Tuesday outfit. (9 comments posted) |

| Ok....so everyone is always asking me, "What should I wear with these pants?", "Where did you get those super cute shoes?" so on and so forth. And to be honest, I am always like, "Where did she get those rockin' jeans?" or "Man, I never thought of pairing that with that." Etc. Etc. So I decided why not help each other out by posting outfits? I'll post mine if you post yours (well that feature isn't exactly finished yet, but we're working on it). To start things off I'm posting a pic of what I'm wearing today. Read on to get all the details. (1 comment posted) |

There is so much going on right now not only to raise awareness but also money for breast cancer research. From Ann Taylor to Coach, Bloomingdale's, Juicy Couture and many more. You really have no excuse not to donate. Pick up some Estee Lauder pink ribbon pink or a Ralph Lauren designed polo from Net-A-Porter.com and each will donate a portion of the proceeds to help fight the battle against breast cancer. How very cool is that! |

In all honesty, a girl needs more than one pair of boots in her lineup. A seriously rockin', high heeled, not totally practical pair for wearing with great looking dresses and skirts, a more practical, but still totally chic pair for schlepping around town and a seriously warm pair to wear when your husband makes you shovel the walk. The high heeled babies are everywhere and the super warm ones I'll leave up to you. As for the more practical, yet totally stylish everyday boots, I'm thinking a pair of riding boots would be just the ticket. |

Wide-leg pants are it for fall and winter and with the holidays fast approaching now is the perfect time to pick up a pair to wear with everything from tnecks to button down shirts to shorter jackets. Add some great looking pumps, mary janes, or boots and you'll be good go looking oh so fabulous as well as oh so comfy and warm. How cool is that. |

I was paging through my October issue of Glamour magazine when I stumbled upon the "Fashion: Ask Us Anything" section of the magazine where a reader had asked, "Which shoes go with my new fall clothes?" Great question I thought because with so many different styles out there for fall it can be difficult figuring out what type of shoes to wear with them. Thankfully, Glamour had the answer. |

With the return to ladylike dressing comes the return of the suit. A great looking and fitting jacket with pants or a skirt that can be mixed and matched to create looks for going to work as well as an evening out. It is a definite must have for fall. And here's my advice - get a good one. This is where paying more for a great looking and well made suit is well worth it. Have it tailored to fit you perfectly and you'll be good to go looking oh so fabulous this fall. |

I know that wide leg pants & jeans are huge for fall, but skinny jeans are still around as well and I am sad to admit that I am just now getting around to buying some. For some reason the thought of having to wear a flowy or tunic style top with the jeans has made me less than eager to own a pair. However, over and over again I have been seeing women wearing these great looking skinny jeans with ballet flats and regular tops like tshirts & cashmere sweaters and they look adorable. So.....just in case you've been avoiding the skinnys like me you might want to reconsider. Here are a few worth checking out. (1 comment posted) |
