Fill Out the Damn Surveys

You know the drill. You go into the Gap or Banana Republic or whatever store, you pay for your purchases and VOILA! you are randomly selected to complete a survey regarding your experience. Now most people would either 1) forget about the offer and throw it out with the rest of the trash or 2) decide it isn't worth the trouble and then throw out with the rest of the trash. But not if you're a Savvie. If you're a smart girl you'd go straight home, fill out the survey, write the offer code on the receipt and then stash it back in your purse for safe keeping. So the next time you're at the Gap, you simply pull it out and save. Seriously ladies, it's that easy and you could end up saving a bunch on your next purchase. I once received a 20% off coupon at my local Gap Outlet store. Serious savings I must say. Now I know it does take some time to actually fill out the survey and a lot of them are just for 10-15% off your next purchase and that may not seem like a lot. But a coupon is a coupon and even if you save only 3-4 bucks that's still enough to get a cup of joe at Starbucks after a hard day of shopping. So.....be a smart girl - a Savvie. If you're lucky enough to be randomly selected, fill out the damn survey and save some money on your next purchase. It'd be a shame to forgo a free cup of coffee.

I agree....and want to add one more thought: It's easy to complain when you can't find what you're looking for - I'm the first one to have a long list of things I wish retailers would do....these surveys are a fast and easy way to make your voice heard. These stores WANT to hear what you have to say, and they're willing to "pay" you to tell them. In how many other areas of your life do you get the chance to be paid to make it all about you?

AGREE! I always fill out the surveys, and I can't tell you how much I saved at Christmas time this last year!
