Don't Touch those Tags

If you're like me there are times when you just change your mind about something you've purchased. Whether you've started feeling bad about spending too much money or simply had a change of heart you sometime wish you hadn't bought just one more pair of jeans. No matter how perfect they are.
Well honey if you haven't removed the tags you're in luck. Grab your receipt, which you
still have of course
, and your jeans and head to the store. They'll credit your account and your conscious will be cleared. If on the other hand you already snipped those little tags because you couldn't ever imagine not wanting those perfect jeans...well imagine it! Now you can either return the jeans without the tags and beg for credit or you're stuck with them. Either way you can't help but feel bummed because you're out the cash and you just spotted a pair of shoes you can't possibly live without.
So ladies remember
DON'T TOUCH THOSE TAGS
. Resist the urge to snip and leave them on until you are about to leave the house wearing those perfect little jeans. Seriously, you will be so glad you did.

It has taken me a very long time to learn this but it is so true!!! I've wondered a million times what I was thinking when two weeks after buying something I try it on and it is all wrong for me. Another trick is that if it's too late to take it back to the store you can get a better price selling it on Ebay if the tags are still attached!

I have always kept my receipts in a box in case i wanted to return a item ...but soemtimes i got to the store and i didn't have those tags so lately i have found a method to keep them together. whenever i am back from shopping i snip the tags of clothes and i staple them to the receipt so in case i have to return the item i have everything i need. and stores won't say no to that!

Really.....the stores never give you a hard time about the tags not being attached to the clothes themselves?

Bshopper has got the problem solved with the tag problem, I agree with you! I have finallly gotten the tag thing down too. Recently, I was heading out the door and my TAG was still attached to a denim jacket, unknowing that it was sticking out like an advertisement at the back of my neck. Luckily a friend that was with me as I was getting into the car reached over and tucked it in for me. Thank goodness for FRIENDS!!! Ebay is another great idea. You get much, much more for an item that has the tags still attached! debugnlily, January 2007
